Be sure your ranch name and serial number (shown on the receipt you received with your purchase) has been entered by clicking the Help button at the top of EquineMax CS and choosing Registration (Serial Number).
To create a new EquineMax file, click the Office button in the top left corner of the EquineMax ES screen and choose New Data File.
To create a new EquineMax file based on records you entered into the Sample file, click the Office button in the top left corner of EquineMax ES, choose Convert then choose "Convert Sample File to New Data File."
To open an existing EquineMax file (that's on the computer that ends in .emdb), click the Office button in the top left corner of EquineMax ES and choose Open Data File.
To restore an EquineMax CS file that you have backed up (that ends in .embk) , click the Office button in the top left corner of EquineMax ES and choose Restore Backup File.
